I went along the Sentier des Loups (Wolves Trail) after an ice storm the previous day. The surroundings were surreal as the sunlight reflected everywhere. Before heading to the trail, I took time to visit the Mackenzie King domain, south of the park. Mackenzie King was a former Prime Minister of Canada during WW-2. He built ruins on his domain from stones and parts of divers buildings, such as taking stones from the Canadian Parliament Building after it burned down or from columns taken from the old British North American Bank Note Company in downtown Ottawa. The Sentier des Loups is an easy day hike and has some views.
